Former K24 TV journalist Mariam Mjahid has landed a new job at the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
The talented Swahili news anchor infact announced the big news via a post that she made on her Instagram account on Monday.
In the post, Mariam Mjahid shared a photo of herself posing at the BBC studios but did not add any caption to it.
The disclosure however elicited some congratulatory messages from netizens as well as her fellow journalists, who joined her in celebrating the big news.

Mariam Mjahid has actually announced her move to BBC about a week after she announced her exit from K24 TV.
Taking to her Instagram account on the 25th of October, the sassy journalist made a long post where she appreciated her bosses for giving her the opportunity to work at the station.
In the post, Mariam Mjahid also appreciated her fans who have supported her over the years with regards to her career in the media industry.
