Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has received why he no longer enjoys his favorite meal and also talked about his favorite Kenyan artist. He recently captivated Kenyans with insights into his personal life, discussing his thoughts on unity, peace, and good memories. Making his first public appearance in months, Uhuru showed up in Cote d’Ivoire for an international peace conference where he also addressed some rumors about his health.

During an interview with Milele FM’s Ankali Ray, Uhuru shared a glimpse of his birthday celebration and offered Kenyans heartfelt messages of hope and peace. In the conversation, the former president opened up about the challenges that come with age, even mentioning how his eating habits have changed over the years.

Uhuru, who once enjoyed indulging in his favorite Kenyan meal, admitted that he can no longer enjoy it as he once did. He attributed this shift to age, a reality that surprised many of his supporters who remembered his enthusiasm for traditional Kenyan foods. He revealed that his favorite meal is “nyama choma” (roasted meat).

When asked about his favorite Kenyan artist, Uhuru thoughtfully avoided singling out any one musician, emphasizing his love for all Kenyan artists saying, “They are all my favorite.” However, he did request a particular gospel song, Hakuna Mungu Kama Wewe, as a reflection of his gratitude.

He also dedicated the classic I Got You by UB40 to his wife, Margaret, showing a softer, more personal side of the former head of state. Kenyans quickly took to social media to praise him, with many noting how he remains a beloved figure even in his retirement.
