According to recent reports, notorious lawyer Miguna Miguna has commented on recent media reports on former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua’s decision to oppose the appointment of a three-judge bench by Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu to hear his ouster case.

Miguna criticized a Nation article that questioned their reporting on Rigathi Gachagua’s political difficulties.”Why don’t you just mention that “Gachagua has appealed?” Why the “rushes?” When did you want him to appeal?I advise Kenyans to remain vigilant for Githeri Media’s pro-establishment slant,” the report states. He consequently advised Kenyans to continually monitor what the media is reporting, accusing the media of being biased.

Miguna’s statement comes in response to Rigathi Gachagua’s daring attempt to seek justice over the establishment of a three-judge bench to hear and decide his impeachment case. The bench was also expected to hear the case challenging the orders that prevented Kithuri Kindiki from being sworn in as the new deputy president.

Rigathi Gachagua will be looking for a success with his legal team, led by prominent counsel Paul Muite, despite the fact that some leaders have asked him to drop the case.
