Morara Kebaso is a lawyer and civics educator. Kenyans have reacted negatively to his desire for more funding for his 47-county megaproject. Some Kenyans have described Morara Kebaso as a conman seeking sympathy from Kenya in the name of civic education in order to take money from them.

Morara Kebaso has been in the spotlight for his new strategy of exposing the Kenya Kwanza Government, led by President William Samoei Arap Ruto, for failing Kenyans in terms of development. Ruto has not yet delivered the pledges he made to Kenyans during his campaign. Morara Kebaso went so far as to expose some of the fake projects that Ruto has launched since assuming office.

Kebaso earned a large number of fans on his official social media accounts. Some dubbed him ‘God’s messenger’. But what has changed today that Kenyans are losing faith in Morara Kebaso.

It is true that he opened Kenyans’ eyes by conducting civic education. But what is causing Kenyans to lose hope in him? It is his desire to demand money from poor citizens. How can you beg for money from Kenyans while they are suffering as a result of the very administration you are fighting?

Kenyans believe Morara has deceived them with his current request for money. Morara Kebaso, 28, is accused of being a mole for a key person in the government. Despite his denials, the charges have turned out to be very real.
