Yesterday, a house collapsed in Nairobi. The reports were first shared through a TikTok clip and later on tje county government of Nairobi confirmed the news to be true. Fortunately, the seven storey building had been earmarked as dangerous and occupants had been warned to leave the building.
The Kahawa West man, who says he is alive by God’s grace, narrated he was locking his door when the building came tumbling down in a split second.

“Msiba wa kujitakia. Hadn’t that building been taped as dangerous and everyone told to vacate? What was he still doing there? He’s lucky his stupidity didn’t kill him this time around.” Collins said.
“Should be arrested for trying to commit suicide.” Ford Ranger said.

Very unfortunate. Where are the NCA when these kinds of buildings are being built? In Kenya, corruption is pervasive and prevents people from performing basic tasks.” Beth Njuguna says.
“This demonstrates negligence and carelessness. Plaster was applied to walls that cracked. Undoubtedly, it was a disaster waiting to happen. I wish the injured quick recovery.” James Odero said.
