Speculations continue to rise over who will succeed Rigathi Gachagua as Deputy President even as it emerges that his fate is sealed however much he might defend himself.

Possible replacements have continued to be suggested with several figures presenting themselves for the seat.

Among the names prominently mentioned is Murang’a County governor Irungu Kang’ata.

A top Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya official has now stepped up the vouching for the first time governor to deputise Ruto as the impeachment motion heats up.

“PUBLIC ASSIGNMENT CALLING HIM: My good friend Dr. Irungu Kanga’ta might want to buy some more new Suits because he will be looking great in them shortly,” said Fred Okango, the Secretary of Political Affairs in Azimio La Umoja.

The impeachment motion against Gachagua is currently in the Senate where senators will take a vote late today to conclude the process.

Other names that have been suggested are that of the Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, Kiharu Member of Parliament Ndindi Nyoro, Interior CS Kithure Kindiki etc.
