A section of Kiambu leaders have today, Thursday 10th October, given their opinion on deputy president’s impeachment motion. According to one of the Kiambu leaders, the Impeachment move was done and dusted, therefore, the only thing left was to continue serving the citizens who elected them.
According to him, the Kiambu leaders left the issue to God to judge the impeachers, and if they did it for the good of the people, the Lord shall reward them but if they are doing for their own gain then the Lord will see them.
“Now that we are done with that chapter, Sasa tufanyie wananchi kazi, and then sasa tuone tukishughulikia mambo ya hawa wananchi wa kwaida, and that is the time tutasema kwamba Kenya yetu imeendelea mbele. Lakini kwa sababu sisi hatutaki kuambiwa eti tunafanya siasa, wacha tuwachie Mwenyezi Mungu, kama you are doing that for these people ambao waliwachagua, mungu atawareward, but kama You are doing that for the dake of your stomatch, na mungu pia awaone,” said the Kiambu leader.
The leaders including the attendants were seen clapping in agreement with the leader. The leaders sent the message to President William Ruto hoping that they had now settled the Impeachment motion and the only thing left was now to serve the Kenyan citizens.
