Mumias East MP, Hon Peter Kalerwa Salasya, has asked deputy president Rigathi Gachagua to pray so hard his appeal for forgiveness not to be received by president William Ruto.
Taking to his social media accounts, Hon Salasya claimed that the political career of DP is likely to be weakened if he’s forgiven by president and not senate.
He wants the deputy president to fight for his survival at parliament, senate and courts but not seeking for forgiveness from the Head of State.
According to him if deputy president is forgiven, Kenyans including himself (Salasya) will feel that Gachagua was playing with their emotions and might not offer him a strong support like now.
Salasya who is a member of DAP-Kenya party revealed that Kenyans are looking for a fearless man who will be telling the truth to government when on the wrong side. Forgiveness might fully silence deputy president according to Mumias East MP.
“I know Rigathi Gachagua has done exactly what Ruto did by asking for forgiveness from Uhuru by then .And Riggy should pray so hard to gods of Mt Kenya not to receive the forgiveness from him because if it happens Riggy will be like a flower that will whither in a short period because Kenyans like me will think he was playing with our emotions,” said Salasya.
“Kenyans are looking for a fearless man who will be telling the Truth to government when on the wrong side nothing else .If Riggy gets forgiveness from him and not the senate he will be seen as a weakling leader,” he added.
