Controversial Kenyan lawyer-cum-politician Karen Nyamu has recently revealed to the whole world that she was forced to change her dressing code, after her first-born daughter by the moniker of Teana complained about it.
The nominated senator who is also a close ally of President William Ruto, opened up about this in a post that she made on her Facebook account some several hours ago.
In the post Karen Nyamu revealed that Teana had told her never to wear suits again whenever she decides to go to her school, whether for a parents day meeting or otherwise.
According to the legislator, the young one actually wants her to just be wearing casual clothes from now onwards.
“It was year 6’s chapel today and my 10 year old daughter had clear instructions, not to go to her school in my suits again 😆😆 just wear casual mom 🤦🏾♀️.
Please tell me it’s not just me who’s child dictates what to wear to school” Karen Nyamu wrote.
When she made the post, Karen Nyamu also shared a photo of how she had dressed on Friday when she attended a meeting at her school.
What was clear is that the mother of three had followed her daughter’s advice, and actually wore casual clothes instead of the suits that she is used to.
Karen Nyamu wore a white top, a blue pair of jeans trousers, a cap that had red and white colours and also sneakers that had blue and white colours.
Why Karen Nyamu used to wear suits while going to Teana’s school.
In the comment section of the post, a fan asked Karen Nyamu why she usually wore suits while going to Teana’s school.
The nominated senator then answered by saying that it was because she always wanted to be ready to go to her work after going to the school, because sometimes it happens on a working day.
“Ati because its a working day, nikitoka niingie kazi woiye Kumbe nachoma 😆” she said.
