It is now alleged that John Apple, a Kikuyu gospel artist, took his life following an online investment scam that resulted in his depression.
According to sources, John had just returned to Kenya from the USA, where he was working for the betterment of his life.
He got a chance to invest in one of the companies, but unfortunately, only for him later to realize it was a pyramid scheme.
John, through cryptic posts on his Facebook wall, could show that everything was not well; a few hours before his death, he had shared two of his songs on the page. May his soul rest well.
Taking to various social media platforms, Netizens led by his close allies have expressed their shock and deepest condolence to his entire family more so during these trying times.
A huge number of Netizens also blasted all those who were close to him for not hiding to his calls moments before he took his life.
