Linturi and ruto

A prominent Kenyan believes there will be a revolution against President William Ruto and his administration, thus he predicts tough times ahead for the president.

This is former Chief Justice Willy Mutunga, and like him, he is not happy with how Ruto is running the country and his government is handling things.

He says that Kenyans will reject Ruto and there will be a revolution since he has gone back to the policies of previous president Daniel Moi.

Mutunga has said that Ruto hasn’t done anything to put the 2010 constitution into effect, citing attacks on our national sovereignty, foreign domination, exploitation, and persecution.

He predicted that after the above upheaval, new leaders will be installed who will act morally in the end.

“Just as I anticipate an imminent uprising in Kenya, I also surely see the emergence of an alternative political leadership. That’s what I predict,” he penned in The Star on Wednesday.

“During each of these periods, we have witnessed attacks on our national sovereignty, exploitation, despotism, and foreign hegemony. We remain in Kenya, on a plantation owned by slaves, where the ruling class is composed of individuals Malcolm X referred to as “house niggers,” or national leaders or operatives.

Consequently, he continued, people in authority, who are working to ensure that Moi’s prediction of a 100-year KANU rule comes to pass, need to understand that superior leadership will ultimately emerge.

“They should know that this country will experience a national democratic revolution headed by political figures who are, at the very least, against the comprador bourgeoisie and imperialism.” The latter rule the country as their spies,” he said.

His prediction comes just days after a similar one was made by former Mukurweini Member of Parliament Kabando Wa Kabando.
