We are all aware that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua is a man under siege.
The tension between him and President William Ruto’s camp escalated further after his last week’s interview with Citizen TV, whereby he opened up how he is being mistreated by the government he is part of.
Well, it seems that number of politicians in the rulling party distancing themselves from Gachagua is growing day by day.
Murang’a Women Representative Betty Maina has now joined a list of UDA MP calling for Gachagua’s ouster. As reported by Kenya’s.co.ke, the legislature echoed Oscar Sudi’s sentiments adding that the DP has been rejected in his home.
“As Oscar Sudi said, Gachagua should vacate his office within those two weeks. We are done with him and he’s on his way out. He needs to stop chest-thumping and blackmailing the president. As the spouse of his MP, I can tell you he has even been rejected in his own home,” said Betty Maina.
