School dormitory

A horrific blaze has reduced a boys’ dormitory at Bukhalalire High School to nothing more than a smoldering heap of rubble. The unprecedented inferno erupted late Monday night according to live video captured by eyewitnesses.

Eyewitnesses report the fire’s origin remains a mystery, but in mere minutes, it swept through the dormitory like an unstoppable monster, engulfing the entire structure in towering flames.

Desperate cries filled the air as students fled the burning building, many jumping out of windows to escape the raging inferno. Videos from the scene have since gone viral, capturing thick black smoke billowing into the sky, visible from miles away.

The fire service was late to the scene, arriving nearly an hour after the blaze began. By then, it was too late to save anything. The dormitory, housing over 200 students, was completely destroyed.

“It felt like a scene from a horror movie,” said one student, still trembling in shock. “The flames were chasing us; we had no way out.”

Fortunately, no fatalities have been reported, but over a dozen students have been rushed to the hospital for treatment of burns and injuries from the chaos. The fate of Bukhalalire High School now hangs in the balance as anxious parents seek justice for their children’s traumatic ordeal.
