During his trip to China to attend the China-Africa Summit that is ongoing, president William Ruto had a chance of meeting with president Xi Jinping and they made some deals that will benefit Kenya in many ways.

Kenya was also privileged to join the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank that will help fund major projects in the country. As president Ruto was having a meeting with an official of the bank, Kenyans noticed something that has raised mixed reactions.

The Kenyan flag that was placed on the small table between them was wrongly fitted with the green color at the top and the black at the bottom. Kenyans who saw this mistake could not keep quiet are they complained that it was disrespectful for the country.

The photo that was shared by blogger Omwamba raised a heated debate on the internet as Kenyans argued on whether it had a problem or not. Some said that having the flag upside down was showing that Kenya is inferior. Others said that it was a sign Kenya had made a mistake of joining the bank.

Some people however said that that was just a small error and their was no need for alarm. Below are some of the top comments Kenyans gave on the issue.
