A woman is regretting the day she lent money she had saved her whole life, to a man who defaulted paying it back.
He sweet talked her into parting with her savings for biashara, that turned out to be fake.
It’s just that where loans are concerned, much more than money is at stake, according to her sad tale.
She recounted Maina Kageni on Thursday March 12 that
I took him to the police, he used to ask me for money on condition he gives me a post dated check. So this time I gave him my money that I had saved on a fixed deposit account, it was sh500k, and I even gave him a taxi which I paid for.
He said he is doing some business and he will return the money, weuh reke gwire it was a back and forth. I took him to the cops, and the ocs was from his shags, and they asked for the side of my story. Do you know what the guys said, ati this is a family dispute, they can’t handle it. He even told the cops that I have been forcing him to buy me a house. The cops dismissed our case.
She said that people who lend money to family or friends live to regret it bitterly. Loans cause ill-feeling, family feuds, broken friendships and emotional problems.
Can you imagine I lost sh500k just like that, and you know what karma is a b*tch he still asks up to this day for 10k. Can you imagine, he still asks for money forgetting I have to take care of our child, he doesn’t pay a dime, and says no I want to be apart of his life
