Radio Queen Mwende Machariah has sparked speculations online over her next move just days after leaving Radio Maisha.
On August 17, 2024, Mwende Machariah attracted social media buzz as she announced her departure from Radio Maisha and the Standard Media Group as she said that she would announce her next move in the coming days.
“I hearby wish to announce my departure from Radio Maisha and Standard Group effective immediately. I cannot wait to share with you my next home so that I can continue doing what I do best,” She wrote in a facebook post.
In the latest development Kenyans have been left guessing on her next move as she appeared during a radio interview on Radio 47.
She was hosted by Hassan Mwana wa Ali on Radio 47’s Bahari ya Elimu show in an interview that attracted a huge audience of listeners who got tuned listening to her.
Taking to her Facebook page, Mwende Machariah announced that it has been a long time since she was hosted as a visitor in a radio station.
“Ni muda sana tangu niwe mgeni kwenye kipindi cha radio,” she posted.
Kenyans online expressed various reactions towards Machariah as many people made speculations that she had joined the fast growing Radio Maisha.
Kenyans started showering her with congratulations messages assuming that she had landed the big radio station for talks on how she will radio host in the station.
However, some Kenyans have expressed concerns on why Radio 47 has the habit of poaching good radio presenters from other stations.
