Stacy Michuki took the modeling world by storm last year when she was crowned the new Miss Universe Kenya for 2019 at Panari Hotel, Nairobi, beating 13 other contestants, including First Runner-Up, Akothee’s daughter, (aka Rue Baby).
Stacy comes from a family of great prestige with her late grandfather being Minister John Michuki and hasn’t been resting on her laurels this year.

Stacy was recently featured on one of popular US fashion magazines, Essence. The reason for that was that was her wildlife photo-spread that was not only vivid but captured the safari experience that most foreigners think Africa looks like.

Stacy has in the past spoken about what being a model means to her saying, “Being a model has been the best thing that has happened to me. It allows me to be someone I am not every day. I’m so happy! I want to thank everyone who supports my journey and above all, I want to thank God because this battle was also fought on my knees!”
