After a police raid on a house owned by Jimi Wanjigi on Thursday and Friday, a circulatory video of Willis Evans Otieno, Wanjigi’s associate, that depicted a happy fellow was shared.
The clip that went viral on the social networks shows Otieno and another man rejoicing what he claimed to be victory over Ruto’s faction.
The video posted with a caption of ‘After beating Ruto and his goons, we vibe’ has elicited the interest of so many people at the same time provoking lots of debates in social media platforms.
The joviality of the people in the video can be observed at the backdrop of relaxed security on Wanjigi who was released from house arrest on Saturday morning by policemen who heeded a court order directing them not to arrest him.
More evident was his confidence during his appearance where he told the society and everybody especially the government that he is not scared of them or the allegations they have against him. He described the allegations asmere political strom and vowed not to cease from his political activities.
The two danced joyously in the video that Otieno has published on the social media and Wanjigi’s supporters have seen it as depicting their defiance to what they regard as political victimization.
However, there have been negative comments regards the video as well; critics complained that Otieno and Wanjigi were ridiculing the rule of law.
