Esther Akoth, known professionally as Akothee, is a Kenyan singer and businesswoman who was born on April 8, 1983. She is East Africa’s No. 1 Female Artist and a multi-award winning phenomenon. Her amazing afro-beat melodies are frequently accompanied by sensuous dancing routines, and she is well-known for them.An autonomous African Queen with the ability to transport you both emotionally and physically via her performances. Akothee, who was born in Kisumu County, grew up in Migori County. She went to Nyabisawa Girls Secondary School till she left out at the age of 14 to marry her husband. She returned to secondary school, graduating from Gachie Mixed Secondary School in 2004.

Akoth’s music career started in 2008.[citation needed] Since then, she has released solo tracks as well as collaborations with other artists including Diamond Platnumz. Ali Kiba

Ali Kiba, a renowned Tanzanian musician, hails from the picturesque city of Iringa. He was born to parents Saleh Omari and Tombwe Njere, and he proudly holds the title of being the eldest son in a family of four siblings.Ali Kiba was fond of music and dance during his childhood. He used to sing and dance along with his friends and also take part in drama singing shows while he was in school. Soon after his 12th exam (2004), he took up the career of a musician and a songwriter and quickly went on to compose his career’s first song named “Maria” which is highly applaudable. He also began to work on his career’s first album at the later stages of the year. In 2005, he refused the offer to play soccer in the Ugandan team in order to develop his career in the music industry. He decided to give more attention to singing and composing rather than playing football.

In 2008 Ali Kiba collaborated with R. Kelly and other African musicians on the One 8 project. Since then the award-winning singer collaborated with various music heavyweights such as Patoranking, Sauti Sol, Marioo, Nyashinski, Khaligraph Jones and Sarkodie among others.Around 2011 Ali Kiba took a three years hiatus from the music industry and returned in 2014 with the release of “Mwana”. The song was well received by fans and made him win 5 awards at the 2015 Tanzania Music Awards.
