the ODM party leader hon Raila Odinga has been handed some good news. This came in after reports emerged on an announcement that the ODM leaders from the coastal region have made concerning Mr Odinga’s new demands to president William Ruto before any dialogue.
As seen from a video that has been shared by Citizen TV, these ODM leaders led by the senator of Mombasa county have announced that they are fully supporting Raila’s new demands to Ruto. Among them is the compensation of protest victims and also the prosecution of police officers who will be found to have used excessive force against protestors.
According to these leaders, Raila Odinga’s demands should be fulfilled before any dialogue begins. They also told the president that his 11 cabinet nominees doesn’t have the face of Kenya as there is no single nominee from the coastal region. They pleaded to Ruto to pick one of them for the remaining slots.
