The president of this country, Dr William Samoe Ruto has come out for the first time to point out the alleged financier of the Gen Z protests in various parts of the republic of Kenya.
As reported by KTN, Ruto has pointed out American based Non Government Organization, Ford foundation as the financier of these protests. Talking in Nakuru, Ruto said that he will not hesitate to name all the people who funded these protests. While making this revelation, Ruto demanded that the Ford foundation should provide them with answers on their role on Gen Z protests.
“Our youth are not available for retrogressive assignments. Those sponsoring them to cause violence and mayhem must be ashamed of themselves. We ask the Ford Foundation to explain to Kenyans its role in the recent protests.” Said President William Ruto.
This statement by president William Ruto is coming in at a time when the Gen Z have been claiming that their protests are organic. Ford foundation is yet to issue a statement after being linked with these protests.
