Several days ago, a city judge was shot dead in cold blood inside Makadara Law Courts after she made a ruling in regards to one of senior cops wife .
Accoridng to news reports, Kivuti was shot by a senior officer who was offended by the said judge’s decision to send his lover behind bars for contempt of court.
In another interesting development, the lady’s Family has now sent a message to the beavered Family .
Through City lawyer Wahome Thuku the family has expressed their deepest condolence to Judge Kivuti’s family.
“THE FAMILY of Jennifer Wairimu has sent me this statement of their deeply heartfelt condolences to the family and colleagues of Makadara Principal Magistrate Monica Njoki Kivuti. Jennifer is the wife of Samson Kipruto the officer who shot Monica and then shot himself.
Her family acknowledges that Jennifer’s case was the trigger of the double shooting and deeply regrets the turn of events even as she languishes in remand.”
