Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon Babu Owino, who is a champion of the anti-finance bill 2024 protests being led by the youth groups in the country, has been spotted with popular Rift Valley region politician Alfred Keter while at City Mortuary in Nairobi today to condole with parents of Rex Masai, who lost his life yesterday during the anti-finance bill 2024 picketing in Nairobi.
In his latest message on Facebook, Babu has shared details of his visit to City Mortuary to condole and confort the parents of deceased youth Rex Masai who was shot by the police yesterday. He has shared photos of his visit where he had been spotted with former Nandi Hills Member of Parliament Hon Alfred Keter.
Keter is among the top critics of President William Ruto and his government. He has turned out to be a top opposition leader against the Ruto led regime from the president’s backyard Rift Valley. His photo with Babu while hugging at City Mortuary has attracted some reactions from Kenyans, who have lauded him as an outstanding leader who has fearlessly differed with Ruto in his backyard. Some have argued that he is the current kingpin of the Rift Valley region.
