Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has blasted President William Ruto and his allies for calling him a tribalist, because of his decision to champion for one man, one vote, one shilling revenue sharing formula. He has termed them as discriminative since they have not called Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance Coalition Party leader Raila Odinga, a tribalist for backing the same revenue sharing formula.
Speaking during a meeting as reported by NTV Kenya today, Gachagua has told off the president and his allies for calling him a tribalist because of championing for a formula, which is set to benefit the people from his region. He has questioned why they have not called Azimio leader Raila Odinga a tribalist too, since he is backing the same formula. The DP further added that that formula is just an opinion and it is not a must for it to be implemented.
