Alinur Mohammed has said, Prior to assigning him blame. Why would Ian Njoroge, then 19 years old, beat a traffic police officer, then 45, in this manner? Take him to a psychiatric hospital rather than the Kasarani Police Station. He shouldn’t be harassed by the police until his guilt is established.
In regard to this, a netizen has said, Ignorance is Poverty. Did you know that according to the National Police Service Act of 2011, assaulting a police officer especially on duty attracts a fine not exceeding Sh1 million, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 10 years or both.
No one has harassed him. He has been apprehended, will be presented in court, bailed out and the judicial process will take its cause. A criminal is a criminal ask your self what if the traffic officer was armed what if he was shot by the police officer ? This is probably how he treats his customers and other Kenyans,he is violent not to just police but to everyone and he must be stopped .
Another one has said, a lot of Kenyans are going through something, alot of mental disturbance. But they know how to conduct themselves. He should face the law. No excuses.
