President William Ruto has today met former President of the United States of America (USA) Barrack Obama, at Blair House in Washington DC where the President is currently in a three-day state visit. The two leaders have discussed several issues key among them being education and climate change.
In response to a report by Nation Newspaper this evening that President William Ruto has met former USA President Barrack Obama, at Blair House in Washington DC where they discussed issues forcusing on education and climate change, Kenyans have expressed their views about the meeting. Some of them have termed the meeting as good news.
While some have questioned their discussions on education and climate change. They have asked what exactly the two leaders have discussed especially on education and how the US is intending to help Kenyan education system. Others have welcomed the meeting arguing that in other countries like US former president’s are highly respected while in Kenya it is the opposite.
