Citizen Tv’s 10 Over 10 presenter Azeezah is a tiny media personality with a deep voice that has landed her a multitude of opportunities.
She is grateful for that.
“I never used to like my voice because I don’t sound like other girls.” saying it lowered her self esteem. But a job at Ebru changed her perception.
She shared her journey with Mungai Eve Friday May 17.

-Her full name is Azeezah Wanjiru Hashim
- She was born in Majengo and raised in Calif.
-She was such a tomboy growing up in Calif and attributes this behavior to her dad. She looked up to him and calls herself a daddy’s girl.
“I used to do everything like my dad. Even how he sat I’m such a daddy’s girl, like I’m my dad’s, I’m sorry to my siblings, me ndio favorite wake. So I did everything like him, talking, “
- Her dream career was a doctor or pilot.
-She chose Journalism in the Parallel degree program
-She attended Kenya High School, as an A student.
-As a child she was a bookworm
-Azeezah calls herself the media messiah.
-She first worked as an e marketer agent earning sh10,000.
