A Form Two student from Bomet was arrested today for Pretending to be a woman in order to obtain money from men enjoying themselves in night clubs in Bomet town.The man, who referred to himself as ‘Grace’, was arrested after he was seduced by a man in a local bar in the area, who proceeded to book a room at a lodging where he discovered that he was not a woman.
Eyewitnesses told a source that Grace had worn a wig and make up and walked with a woman’s gait while at the bar, apparently fooling patrons into believing he was a woman.Residents, however, said that Grace is part of a gang of men who con unsuspecting patrons at bars by pretending to be women.
His arrest was confirmed by area chief who said the accused admitted impersonating a woman for over two years to enable him get money to feed his siblings.
