This morning, cabinet secretary for ministry of Education Hon. Ezekiel Machogu has touched down in Kitale, Trans Nzoia county for tree planting exercise. Upon landing in the said county, he went straight to Governor Natembeya’s office. Photos shared online, shows Natembeya accorded the Cs a warm welcome in his office, he could be seen smiling while extending a hand to greet the honorable cabinet secretary.
With that warm reception from governor Natembeya, Cs Machogu felt at home. As he could also be seen smiling while extending his hand to shake Natembeya’s. After they were done with greeting each other, Machogu was given visitors book to sign just to be on record that this day, Friday 10th, May, 2024, he visited Trans Nzoia county for a very vital exercise being marked in the entire country.
Machogu was accompanied by a team of workers Whom he works with in the ministry of Education. Natembeya and him, are to lead the Citizen of the said county in an exercise of planting trees in various locations that have been mapped out by the government. They are expected to plant trees in Endebess, Kwanza and Cherangany constituencies, Trans Nzoia county.
Today, is a public holiday like he announced president William Ruto, whereby he directed Citizens of this country to use this day to plant trees and also to remember those people who lost their lives due to floods which was recently witnessed in the country.
