Charity Mwamba, also known by her mother-in-law status, Elizabeth Wanjiru, revealed that her unsuccessful matrimonial union with Shem Bageine, a Ugandan spouse, had a profound emotional impact on her. Following the revocation of his Kenyan citizenship by the government in 1987, Shem Bageine returned to Uganda with the intention of advancing his career. There, he ascended through the ranks from Member of Parliament to assistant minister to his current position as minister.
In a prior interview on YouTube, the mother of three disclosed that she had been confronted with depression to the point of near homelessness.The couple met and wed while still students at Makerere University in Uganda, according to a lucid account.
“Although he is two years younger than me, he was exceptionally intelligent. “At Makerere University, where we met while acting, we wed as students and were subsequently blessed with two daughters and one son,” she elaborated.
