President William Ruto has bashed the members of the national assembly who will not be able to secure their re election into the August house with six hundred million shillings in their disposal.
He says that such legislators are very useless if with six hundred million shillings in their five years tenure of office can not convince the electorate to re-elect them.
“My friend, if you can not win an election with 600 million shillings at your disposal for the period of five years you are very useless.” The president said.
He says that the members of the national assembly who will use the constituency development funds allocated to them well will have an easier time seeking re-election in their constituencies.
However, for the legislators who will misappropriate what has been allocated to them will not be re-elected and even do not deserve to be elected.
