Willis Raburu, a renowned Kenyan Journalist has quit his job at TV47 as he prepares to join CNN as an African correspondent. Raburu has worked at TV47 for only 9 months after he left Royal Media Services where he used to host the popular show, 10 over 10.
This is a big success for Raburu because many people had speculated that his journalism career would come to an end after he left RMS. He will now be joining his colleagues Larry Madowo who joined the CNN long ago and Victoria Rubadiri who was also called to join the media group last week.
His friends have come out to celebrate with him for his big win. Alinur Mohamed, a politician and businessman is among his friends and he has celebrated Raburu’s win. In a post on his X page Alinur said;
“My friend Willis Raburu quits TV47 after working at the station for 9 months. I wish Willis Raburu all the best as he joins Larry Madowo and Victoria Rubadiri at CNN as an African Correspondent.”
Other Kenyans who also loved watching his shows have expressed their gratitude to his big win. What do you have to say about Raburu’s new job at CNN? Share your thoughts in the comments section below. Follow the page for more news updates daily.
