Popular Citizen TV news anchor Victoria Rubadiri is now set to leave Kenya’s popular TV station Citizen TV for American CNN. According to reports, Victoria who is known to host Citizen Weekend and Sunday Live will have her time on air for the last time on Citizen this weekend.
As she exits, Kenyans got it hard to say bye for they will surely miss her. However, she was wished well in her new station by her fans. Among the Kenyans who got it hard to say good bye to her included Homa Bay Town MP hon Peter Kaluma who expressed his disappointments in the move. According to the legislator, he doesn’t understand why Victoria should leave for CNN, a media he associated with LGBTQ. Despite associating CNN with the group, Kaluma did not explain more on the same.
In the past, the legislator is known to greatly opposite the group and even threatened to go to the Kenya’s Apex court to contest a ruling on registration of a LGBTQ lobby group.
