The late General Ogolla seemed to have prepared fully for his demise despite it coming as a surprise. According to his family, before his demise, Ogolla was supposed to join his family in celebration of his father’s birthday on Saturday and consecration of the St.Thomas Nduru Anglican Church on Sunday.
He was therefore supposed to travel to the village to help with preparations for both events. However upon his death, the family still confirmed that the 100 years birthday of Mzee Joel Oyeyo will continue on Saturday even as the family continues with the burial preparations.
The burial is being rushed, scheduled on 21st Sunday April 2024 based on his wishes. According to Ogolla, he asked the family to burry him in 72 hours in simple a ceremony, eldest brother Canon Hezekiah said. To show his seriousness on the same, the KDF boss warned his elder sister Perez Onyango against complicating his burial since he knows her of being problematic.
