Joy Janet is a Kikuyu Gospel Singer, she started her singing career while she was still in high school, her mother figure in the industry is Shiru wa GP.
According to Gikuyu Podcast Facebook page, an upcoming female artist accused Joy of fraud. In a video she narrated how Joy scammed her 5,000 that was supposed to be a down payment for her to attend an event in September last year. Despite sending the money Joy never turned up.
In a lengthy post, Joy responded to the accusations, she said that her mpesa names are not the names that the lady is claiming, she has been using her father’s name since she registered her mpesa number before she got an ID. She further advised her fans to do their due diligence before making any transactions because there are many fake accounts under their name that people use to extort money from innocent followers.
