Short-statured TikTok celebrity Ras Bhingi posted a help request online after his Thika home was battered by torrential rains.
After Bhingi posted a video of his flooded home, Eric Omondi began to raise money to assist him. Kenyans were moved by Eric’s assistance with Bhingi’s relocation and his purchases of home goods.
Funnyman Eric Omondi has collected KSh 311,000 to help Ras Bhingi, whose home flooded as a result of intense rains.
When a video of Bhingi’s flooded house went viral and worried internet users, Omondi was crowdfunded. Omondi stated on Instagram that a portion of the money was utilized to cover Bhingi’s first year’s rent in advance.
In a another video that Omondi posted, he and Bhingi go shopping in Thika to help the quickly increasing TikToker buy some new furnishings.
Later in the video, Bhingi was seen relaxing on the couch beside his brand-new Vienna bedâwhich came with a high-density mattressâin the role of a bedsitter.
Omondi claims that the viral star valued independence and mentioned spending the remaining funds to purchase a tuk-tuk.
