Rachel, the wife of renowned footballer Ezekiel Otuoma, has opened up about her struggles with her in-laws.

Rachel was seen shedding tears saying that the in-laws refuse to recognize her as their son’s partner.

The Former AFC Leopards striker Ezekiel Otuoma, had appealed to well-wishers to help him get further medical attention after he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

In a heartfelt revelation, Rachel expressed her exhaustion with the situation, she lamented the mistreatment she has endured from her husband’s family.

Otuoma was diagnosed with the disease in November 2020, forcing him to halt his football career.

She revealed that despite caring for her ailing husband, who suffers from Motor Neurone Disease (ALS), she has received no support from her in-laws.

The former Ulinzi Stars player has undergone treatment in India but not much has changed with his health situation, according to his wife Rachael.
The disease has weakened Otuoma’s muscles, making him reliant on Rachel for care and assistance.

Rachel shared her frustration over her in-laws’ refusal to visit their son, even during his illness.

She stated that she has been the sole caregiver for Otuoma, without any assistance from his family.

Despite her dedication to her husband’s well-being, Rachel feels unappreciated and unrecognized by her in-laws.

Furthermore, Rachel addressed the hurtful accusations made by her in-laws, who claim she married Otuoma solely for his wealth.

Dismissing these allegations, Rachel revealed that Otuoma’s mother has not visited their home in four years

In her emotional revelation, Rachel expressed her weariness with the situation, stating that she has endured disrespect and ingratitude from her in-laws.

She disclosed that she has never sought counseling or received any acknowledgment for her efforts in caring for her husband.
