A relative of Gideon Moi and the grandson of former president Moi is presently in a precarious situation, claiming that he has been denied his rightful share of his grandfather’s wealth, which has allegedly been misappropriated by the family patriarch, stepmother, and stepbrother. Despite being among the wealthiest individuals in Kenya and esteemed national politicians, his uncles have purportedly declined to aid him during his most challenging times, as his inheritance was allegedly diverted from the family will.

As per a report from Tuko.co.ke, Collins Toroitich has had to move from his upscale apartment and settle in the destitute areas of Kawangware estate due to his inability to meet rent payments. This predicament arose after the administrator of his grandfather’s estate denied him his rightful portion. Toroitich’s children are presently unwell, and he lacks the means to cover their medical expenses, forcing him to seek treatment at public clinics, which he describes as subpar.

His businesses collapsed after he was swindled off his inheritance according to his lawyer who has taken his uncles to court seeking for what he says is his rightful share. The estimated wealth left by the family to share is worth over 300 billion shillings and was said to be instructed by the late president to be shared equally among his family members.
