Just months after media personality Hellen Muthoni announced that she had called it quits with the Royal Media Services-owned station Inooro TV, her replacement at the station has finally been found.

The lady who has replaced her as a host of the ‘Rurumuka’ show, is infact none other than Shiro Ann, who is also a Kikuyu musician.

The sassy queen confirmed the big news via a long post on her Facebook account, where she could not hide her joy after landing the job.

Shiro Ann infact penned a verse from the Biblical book of 1st Samuel chapter 16 to celebrate the big news, and further thanked the RMS for giving her an opportunity to serve.

“…Asante sana Royal Media Services and Inooro TV for giving me a chance to serve. Glory and honour be to God…” she said in part.

In the post, Shiro Ann further revealed that she will make her debut as a host on Sunday the 7th of April, where she will co-host the ‘Rurumuka’ show alongside DJ Covenant.

The beauty queen also said she will host also a show called ‘Tumuambararie’.

Among the people who congratulated Shiro Ann after she landed the new role is her soon-to-be co-host DJ Covenant.

Taking to his Facebook account, he wrote:

“Aaaaaaaah…nimeshindwa kunyamaza 😂😂😂😂 finally Shiro Ann.

Tupatane Sunday 8 am – 1 pm Inooro TV”.

Hellen Muthoni quits Inooro TV
As mentioned above, Shiro Ann has actually replaced Hellen Muthoni at Inooro TV.

The latter used to co-host the ‘Rurumuka’ show with DJ Covenant since 2016, but surprised many of her fans after she announced her exit in November 2023.

Taking to her Facebook account then, Hellen Muthoni said that she was hosting her last show and even gushed over the years that she worked with DJ Covenant.

“Good morning! I’m much delighted to be hosting #Rurumuka for the very last time”

“It was amazing serving with you @djcovenant 🙏🙏 May the good Lord continue being gracious unto you” Hellen Muthoni wrote.
