Social media Influencer and content creator Corazon Kwamboka’s attention has been drawn to images of Metrine Okumu which circulated on social media on Monday.
The photos showed that the face of Metrine had swollen terribly and reports established that she was physically assaulted by her husband leaving her with severe injuries on her face.
Following that Corazon Kwamboka is now looking for the woman so she can help her. Kwamboka asked Kenyans in contact with Metrine to connect them so she can see how they can help her.
“This made me so sad! Anyone knows this lady? Kindly share her contact we see how to help her.” Reads Corazon Kwamboka’s message.
Apparently Metrine had followed her husband to the bar to ask him about food. She found him drinking with his mistress. The two poured alcohol on her and beat her leaving her with severe injuries.
“I went to ask him about food, and he was seated down with another lady drinking alcohol. They took the alcohol, poured it on me, and they began to beat me,” Metrine said
This happened on Saturday in Busia and her images circulated today on Monday. Reports say she was admitted at the Busia County and Referral Hospital.
The act has been condemned strongly by Kenyans with a section calling for action to be taken against the husband. Corazon Kwamboka has also offered an helping hand to the 42 year old Busia women.
