The family of the late Sharon Chelangat has been still in mourning since their daughter was brutally gang raped by unknown people some few meters from the police station in Silibwet in Bomet County. The family has revealed that their daughter was attacked by three men who raped her and left her to die.
According to the source, further, as per the results and postmortem conducted on the body of the late Sharon, who also succumbed after being hospitalized for ten days at the ICU, it has emerged that her skull had some injuries and also her private parts had injuries. It has been reported that, as per the injuries that were on her private parts, it is believed that the killers inserted some unknown objects. Sharon’s family was also left clearing for medical bills that amounted to Ksh 700,000.
Police officers from the region have confirmed the incident and revealed that investigations are going on and one suspect is in custody. Further, Bashir Ali, who is also Bomet Central police boss, confirmed the incident and asked Kenyans for any useful information that would help them arrest the suspects to share immediately.
This just came in after similar cases of innocent ladies being killed in the country and their bodies dumped in different parts of the country have been reported. May the soul of Sharon continue to rest in peace.
