In recent days, there’s been a worrying increase in unexplained deaths in different parts of all regions in Kenya. The latest fatal occurrence involves a 25-year-old female housemaid who died in unclear circumstances in a Nairobi residence.
Nairobi police investigators are looking into the maid’s death after finding her lifeless body in her home in Pangani Estate. Acting on tips from neighbours, the director of investigation detectives entered the house and discovered the maid unconscious on her bed.
After examining her, the police noticed foam coming from her nose and mouth, suggesting a possible cause of death. Although no visible injuries were seen, various medicines were scattered around the house.
The maid, who lived alone, has been taken to the mortuary for further checks through an autopsy examination.
As authorities investigated what happened to the maid, we sent condolences to her family and friends during this mourning time.
