Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Tuesday morning visited his former high school, the Herder Institute in city of Leipzig in Germany.
According to information posted by his ODM party, the seasoned politician who is currently in Germany for a working tour took an extensive tour of the institution where he reportedly some current students at the school.
The party also reports that the official opposition leader visited Lumumba street where he resided during his stay in Germany. Odinga was accompanied by Kilifi county governor Gideon Mungaro.
“This morning, Party Leader Raila Odinga visited his high school , the Herder Institute in the German city of Leipzig, took an extensive tour of the institution, including a visit of his residence on Lumumba Street, met some current students at the school. He was accompanied by Kilifi governor Gideon Mungaro.” They reported.
On Monday after having their first meeting Odinga posted “Exciting day at The World Forum on the Future of Democracy, Tech, and Humankind in Berlin, with global leaders in politics, civil society, and culture poised to explore groundbreaking ideas and practices for a better world. Discussions on pressing socio-political issues towards meaningful change are underway.”
