Sad breaking news about the death of the world marathon record holder Kelvin Kiptum hit the headlines after he was involved in an accident while heading home.
Kiptum who was driving with a lady by the name Sharon Kosgey and his coach are said to have ran into a ditch before hitting a tree killing him and his coach on the spot. Sharon Kosgey managed to survive the accident where she came out with minor injuries.
She was immediately rushed to the hospital where the doctors were able to quickly administer her with treatment thus removing her from danger. It is a big surprise that Sharon has been discharged from the hospital as Philip Kirwa the CEO of the hospital that Sharon was admitted to confirms the report.
Sharon Kosgei is the only survivor of the Eldoret-Kaptagat accid3nt that cost us world marathon Champion Kelvin Kiptum and his Rwandanese coach Garvis Hakizimana.
