Latest reports indicates that KenGen CEO has announced new electricity prices therefore posing a major win to majority of kenyans across the country.

As relayed by a report covered on kenyans.co.ke, KenGen CEO has admitted the presence of a good flow of water levels from Mt Kenya Region and Aberdare catchment areas.

As a result, kenyans should expect in the coming months full capacity of electricity unlike before.

“We are happy to report that we are receiving very good inflows from the Mount Kenya and Aberdares catchment areas which has led to high water levels at our dams,” the CEO stated.

He added, “This will see Kenyans reap the full benefit of cheaper electricity.

This comes following Uproar from kenyans online protesting the current tokens prices that EPRA has been setting.

Apparently, this is a major win for kenyans considering the fact that fuel prices are expected to continue coming down in the next Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority ( EPRA’s review.

On the other side, EPRA has refuted claims of existence of new leakage of gas at Embakasi gas plant.On a statement, the authority noted that a check was made and therefore urging Residents to stay calm after some were reported to fleeing the village in fear of another gas explosion.
