Former chief justice Dr Willy Mutunga on 21st January evening took on Prime cabinet secretary Musalia Mudavadi following his statement after Busia thanksgiving ceremony.
Speaking via his official twitter handle, Willy Mutunga took Prime CS Musalia Mudavadi head on after speaking on busia’s welcome and thanksgiving service attended by President William Ruto among other leaders.
According to Mutunga, it seems Busia senator Okiya Omtatah’s moves has pushed Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government into having a rally in Busia.
“Busia? Has Senator Omtatah’s patriotic message resulted in these prayers? God is blameless when human beings are to blame”, he wrote.
” Together with H.E President @WilliamsRuto, National Assembly Speaker @HonWetangula, Governors Paul Otuoma (Busia), Ken Lusaka (Bungoma) and a host of MPs, National and Local Leaders, we joined the people of Busia for the Sunday Interdenominational Thanksgiving and Prayer achakusi, Teso South in Busia County” Musalia Mudavadi wrote.
On the same note, former Busia governor Sospeter Ojamong has ditched Raila Odinga’s led ODM party for Ruto’s Kenya Kwanza government.
This comes a week after tendering in his resignation letter from the party despite being faced with graft cases.
