CNN international correspondent Larry Madowo has expressed his disappointment on Kenyan Embassies move to give misleading information to tourists regarding the state of affairs on President Ruto’s declaration on visas.
Addressing via a statement dated today the 3rd day of January 2024, Larry Madowo has intimated that it was solemnly abnoxious for Kenyan embassies to notify tourists that Kenya is now as Visa free country despite the Kenyan Government having not yet implemented the policy.
Larry Madowo underscored that the Kenyan Embassies decision to disseminate misleading information to tourists was an international embarrassment, articulating that it was imperative for them to wait until that golden time when the Government will implement the Visa-free policy.
Larry Madowo has intimated that the Kenyan Government has not yet issued a strategic public plan and exact timeline within which the highly coveted Visa-free policy will be implemented, thus calling upon all Kenyan Embassies to evade navigating along the heinous path of sharing misleading information to tourists.
“Kenyan embassies are telling foreigners that the country is now visa-free but the Kenyan government has not implemented it. There’s no public plan and no timeline. What international embarrassment is this?” Larry Madowo divulged.
