The national police service of Kenya has this morning notified the public through a social media post that the purported national police services recruitment drive for 2024 that has been doing rounds on social media is fake.
The announcement came just a few hours after Kenyans raised concerned about the eligibility and the truth about the posts on social media that wanted Kenyans to begin the process of registering as members of The Police service.
In the update by the National Police Service, they have revealed that any form of communication will be communicated through a gazette notice or through the National Police service social media handles, which are verified.
Cases of individuals being conned have been on the rise in recent days following the circulations of recruitment drives in government is institutions in the country.
Kenyans have further been urged to be vigilant not to fall victims of the fake announcement and recruitment drive
