Detectives in Makindu are investigating an incident in which a man surrendered to the police and confessed to killing to people in Miangeni village.
The suspect reportedly hacked two of his colleagues at a farm in Makindu with a panga.

According to a witness, the suspect had taken cows to a white settler’s farm in Makindu to graze when he picked an issue with a farmhand.

In the ensuing fight, he is said to have struck the farmhand with a panga, killing him on the spot.

A second man who tried to separate them suffered the same fate, sustaining fatal injuries in the Monday, December 25 attack.

The bodies of the deceased have been moved to the Makindu sub-county hospital mortuary as investigations continue.
