Musician Justina Syokau has announced that she has shelved plans to release a 2024 song after a section of fans bullied her not to sing again.
Speaking during an interview with a local YouTuber, the musician confirmed that she will not be hitting the studios soon because the aforementioned individuals claimed she was ruining the year.
She went on to state that she was occupied with her marriage which she says gives her fulfilment and that anyone complaining about her songs should take their frustrations elsewhere.
“Kuna watu wanacomplain nisiimbie 2024 ati nisiprovoke mwaka. Nataka kuambia wakenya ya kwamba sitawaimbia, mimi sitawarogea mwaka na sirogangi, heh watu wananiwekelea mashida zao na nataka kuwaambia ya kwamba mimi siimbi 2024 song.
“Jameni mimi si mwenye nimekuletea mashida zenye uko nazo, I participate zeri mahali umefail this year. Kama hukupanuliwa mipaka ni wewe, yani kama mwaka wako haukuzaa matunda ni wewe. Mimi nimebarikiwa, nimepata bwana 2023,” she said.
Syokau who kept spitting saliva the entire interview claimed that she was expectant and that her life had been great since she was enjoying her marriage.
She also advised women to take pride in marriage and treat their husbands well to enjoy the benefits of the union. She also revealed that her husband bought her a chain worth millions as a gift for being a ‘good’ wife.
“I’m enjoying my marriage sai tunaenda vacation ya hii December. Watu niliwaambia ya kwamba kama umeolewa onyesha mume wako mapenzi. Mwanaume hakulangi Instagram ama Tiktok na Facebook, mwanaume ni mapochopocho. Onyesha mume wako mapenzi,” she said.
“Kama umekua ukinunuia bwana yako this is the time kumwonyesha mapenzi, mvue viatu, mwoshe mguu na maji moto, mpeleke bedroom, make sure umepiga kale kaperfume kazuri. Ukiangalia chain yangu unaona ni ya a million tunatunzwa vizuri. Sai niko busy naonyeshwa mapenzi, watu waache kuniharasss kwa streets.”
Her remarks caused a buzz among her fans with some claiming that she might be chasing clout.
While opinion was divided on her intentions, a section congratulated her for her pregnancy and wished her well during her pregnancy journey.
